Jake Darren Curtis, 21, of West Jordan passed away on October 30, 2015. Jake was born in Salt Lake City to Darren Wyman Curtis (Janalee) and Cindy Butler George (Norman) on June 12, 1994. He rocked high school at Copper Hills High graduating in 2012, earning both his diploma and his Associates degree. He continued his education at Utah Valley University working toward a Bachelor's degree in History Education, Health Education, and multiple other endorsements. While tirelessly working towards his degree Jake worked for UPS where he made many good friends. Jake loved to watch sports with his dad, go bargain shopping with his Mom, play with his sisters, and get into mischief with his cousins. Jake was a loving, generous young man who enjoyed performing acts of kindness for everyone he knew. Jake will be missed by his parents; his sisters Kirstie Shull (Matthew), Tosha Curtis (Joshua), Michaella, Grace, and Daryn Curtis, Karissa and Shantae George, and Sariah Gridley; his brothers Kyron and Kelton George; his three beautiful nieces Paisley & Cambree Curtis and Elena Shull; his grandparents John Curtis, Jan & Kevin Hendricks, Brant & Ruth Ann George, and Karen George; 14 aunts, 14 uncles, countless cousins (some of which were his best friends: Ryan, Kyle, and Lindsay), and finally his very best friend Bosco. The celebration of Jake's life will be held Saturday, November 7th, 11 AM at the LDS Copperhills Meetinghouse, 5349 W 9000 S, West Jordan, Utah, 84088. Gatherings will be held 6-8 PM at the McDougal Funeral Home, Friday, November 6th, 4330 S Redwood Road, and Saturday, 9-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kanosh Cemetery at 55 N.
