Walter James Brown passed away November 2, 2014, from complications of a stroke. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Edmond Brown and Etna Lavina Shaffer; wife, Mildred Lucille Lesser, whom he married June 6, 1943; sisters, Lucy Mae (Albert Fredrick) Hawkins, Beatrice Thelma (Robert J.) Richie, Ada Virginia (Ernest Robert) Matthews, and Faye Etna (William) Olson; and brothers, Earl William, Homer Vanier , Ray Edmond, John Riley, and George William. He is survived by three sisters; four children; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The burial of his cremated remains at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, in the West Jordan City Cemetery, West Jordan, Utah. A memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2014, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel in Prosser, Wash.
