Arthur John Jones Jr.

Arthur John Jones Jr. passed away peacefully at home in Murray, Utah, on July 12, 2016. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on August 25, 1929, the son of Arthur and Murial Jones. On February 3, 1951, he married Donna Anderson; they later divorced. On May 19, 1984, he married Delores Dolle. They lived and worked in Dugway, Utah, until they retired. They spent the next few years traveling the country in their motor home, enjoying visits with their family and friends. Art loved reading, watching sports, playing games, and telling stories to anyone who would listen. Arthur is survived by his children, Doris, Linda, Grayce (Eric), Donna Jean (Dave), John, Ramona (George), and Bob.; Delores' children, who were like his own, Ron (Donna), Steve, Scott (Tammy), and Andy (Sheridan); 21 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Art was preceded in death by his parents; sister; wife, Delores Jones; former wife, Donna Jones; son, Gene; daughter, Judy; son-in-law, George; granddaughter, Tawna; and great-granddaughter, Camille. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4290 West 5415 South. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services at the church.
