John Patrick Farmer

John Patrick Farmer died peacefully at home on September 11 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT at the age of 64. John was born on September 15, 1951 in San Antonio, TX to Geneve and John M. Farmer. He graduated from Kearns High in 1969. He began working for Weir Minerals in 1980 and retired in 2013. John is survived by his daughter, Mindy Brock of Salt Lake City; brother, Bill Farmer of Salt Lake City; sisters, Sue Ellen Gallegos, Marylee Kincaid & Kathryn Larsen, all of Salt Lake City; and grandchildren Kenyon, Rhylie, Somerset & Liam. He is preceded in death by his parents, Geneve and John M. Farmer of Texas. A graveside service is scheduled for September 23, 2016 at 12pm at Camp Williams, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John's life. In lieu of flowers, a small donation can be made in his name to the Boy Scouts of America.
