Adam Dee Lindsey was born to Michael Burke Lindsey and NaDine Swenson on July 17, 1962 at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Adam passed away on October 8, 2016 due to cardiac arrest and complications associated with liver failure. He lived the majority of his life in Utah aside from time spent in Santa Rosa, California and Edmonds, Washington during his childhood. Adam attended Bountiful High School. Adam was a brother to Teasha Groves, step brother to John Lindsey, and half brother to Kara Pankiw, Cindy Gibby, and Justin Gibby. Adam married Robyn Sheldon in 1982. They had two children, Stephan Burkley Lindsey and Maquelle Dee Lindsey. Adam and Robyn later divorced. Adam was married again in 1997 to Kathi Sjoberg; they had one daughter, Megan Lindsey Sjoberg. Their marriage also ended in divorce. Throughout his life, Adam prided himself on his work, particularly as a Winding Technician for General Electric. He had great talent in contracting and painting. Adam enjoyed spending time in nature and loved hiking and mountain biking. He also had a passion for music. Adam had a playful personality and a kind heart. To those he cared for, Adam was selfless and full of love. Adam is survived by his mother NaDine (Bob) Gibby, West Jordan; his siblings, Teasha Groves, Salt Lake City, John Lindsey, Sunset, Kara (Mike) Pankiw, Denver, CO, Cindy Gibby, West Jordan, and Justin Gibby (Laura McCullough), Salt Lake City; and his children Stephan (Elizabeth) Lindsey, Kaysville, Maquelle Lindsey, Bountiful, and Megan Lindsey Sjoberg, Ogden; 5 grandchildren: Jack, Oliver, Charlie, Sam and Sophie, Kaysville. Adam was preceded in death by his father, Michael. A graveside service will be held for Adam on Friday, October 21, 2016, at 11:00am in the Bountiful Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West. Immediately following the service, lunch will be held at 262 East Center Street in Bountiful.In lieu of flowers, donations to cover final expenses would be appreciated.
