Alberta Francis Simpson Moore

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife, Alberta Francis Simpson Moore, passed away of causes incident to age on Tuesday, April 19th, just short of her 82nd birthday. She was born April 28, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arnold Oliver and Alberta Loveridge Simpson. She was the eighth child and the only daughter. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings including Kearns Stake YWMIA Sports Director, Relief Society President, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Ward Chorister, Primary teacher, and Visiting Teacher Supervisor. She was kind, always with a smile on her face, and a loving wife and mother. We will miss her greatly. She is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Moore, West Jordan; son Ken Moore, West Valley City; daughter, Sheril Moore, West Valley City; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Debi Moore Greenwell; 7 brothers, Arnold Carlos, Glendor Lewis, Lawrence Earl, Alton Don, Billy Keith, Clifford Marlin, and Clarence Ray Simpson. Thanks to the staff of the Brighton Home Health and Hospice staff who cared for her during this past month. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25th, 11:00 a.m., at Oquirrh 3rd Ward Chapel, 6673 South Clarnates Drive, West Jordan. Viewings will be held, Sunday, April 24th, 6-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and prior to services at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South.
