Alene Mecham Ivie Thomas Elegant Lady Alene Mecham Thomas, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, was called home by a loving Father in Heaven on Saturday, December 1, 2012. She is survived by her 4 children: Carolyn Wilde & Hal Ivie, both of Duchesne, Doug Ivie & Deborah Ostler of Salt Lake City. She will also be loved and remembered by her 15 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. Her heavenly reunion will also include her cherished son, Dennis Bink Ivie; daughter-in-law, Kathy; 3 grandchildren: Jayson, Brittney & Ryan; parents and 8 siblings. We will celebrate her heavenly reunion with joy knowing she is surrounded by loved ones and that her earthly suffering is over. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 6, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewings will be Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services.
