Alice Joanne Roderick

Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Alice Joanne Roderick, peacefully passed away July 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. Joanne was born May 5, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is survived by her siblings, brother Wayne (Carolyn) Roderick of Pocatello, Idaho and her sister Carolyn Hendricks of Salt Lake City. She gifted this world with 2 beautiful children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Daughter Kelly (Roger) Trujillo and son Rod (Kathy) Buhler. Grandchildren Chea Briggs, Maria Trujillo, Joanna Trujillo, Kyle Buhler, Andy Buhler, Katiee Buhler and Bobbie Buhler. She was a professional photographer owning her own studio for several years. Later in her life she was a Commercial Credit Manager for Hillshire Farms, Coca Cola and Hunter Douglas. Never losing her passion for photography she continue to take pictures till she could no longer hold a camera. Joanne also loved to drive and would often go on short spontaneous road trips. We'd like to share our gratitude and empathy with those who loved Joanne and were lucky enough to have blessed her life during her short 78 years. Funeral services will be held Friday July 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Riverridge 1st Ward, 10124 South 1300 West, where a viewing will be held 10-10:45 AM prior to services.
