Our beautiful mother, Alice Ruth Lee, returned home May 25, 2018. Nicknamed Chata for her button nose, Alice was born April 8, 1946 to Teodolo and Adelia Ramos. Alice grew up a coal miner's daughter in East Carbon, Utah. As the eldest daughter, she was the second mom to her siblings, always making sure the girls' dresses were clean and their hair was perfect. Alice was kind and sharing with all who knew her. She was famous for her stove top popcorn, menudo, enchiladas and tortillas made from scratch. Alice opened her home and her kitchen to everyone. She met and married the man of her dreams, Andrew Drew Lee. A loving and devoted wife, the two enjoyed their years together before Drew passed in 2001. Alice is preceded in death by her parents, brother Geno, sister Betty, sons Edward and Danny and husband Drew. She is survived by brothers Dave and Ted, sisters Dorothy and Terilyn and by her children: Debbie (Mike); Valerie (Glenn), Michael (Andrea), Amber and Robert. She's also survived by the loves of her life, her 21 grandchildren. Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 6th,10:30 am 12:30 pm. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S Redwood Road. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Road Home or The Inn Between in the name of Alice Lee.
