Alma Geertruida Isbell

Alma Geertruida Isbell was born August 13, 1923 to Leendert and Roelofje Grotepas in Rotterdam Holland. She passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at the age of 92. She grew up in Utah after coming from Holland with her family. She met and married her sweetheart November 19, 1945, and was later sealed to him in the Salt Lake Temple, September 20, 1961. She was an active member in the LDS Church teaching Sunday School, Primary and Scouts. She served a mission with her husband in the South Dakota Indian Mission. She is survived by her children, Linda Thulin & husband Bob, Leendert (Al) Isbell & wife Sylvia and Adriana (Ann) Smith & husband David; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; with 1 great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild on the way. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9th, 11:00 a.m., at Granger West 4th Ward, 3305 South 3960 West. Viewings will be held Friday, January 8th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and again at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
