Alvin Frank Lemperle age 85 passed away on January 21, 2021 in Murray, Utah. Alvin loved to fly and is now able to spread his wings and fly. Born October 8, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank Julius and Phyllis Emma Mugleston Lemperle. He married Beverly Rosella Holmes on January 10, 1958 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
A master carpenter he worked alongside his father building chapels for the Church and homes in the family construction business. Alvin served his country in the National Guard as an Air Force mechanic.
Alvin loved the Savior and served in many callings in the Church. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to North Central States Mission and served in the Salt Lake Temple as an ordinance worker for 22 year.
Alvin is survived by his wife and companion of 63 years Beverly; his children: Stephen (Tammy),Julie Buckmiller, David (Sherice), Jeff (Rebecca), Scott (Debbie), Lisa (Doug) Fossat; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother John Lemperle; daughter, Suzanne Lemperle; grandson, Caleb Lemperle.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cottonwood MBK Senior Living and Inspiration Home Health & Hospice for all the care that they have provided him in his final days.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 @ 12:00 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 6-8:00 pm and January 27, 2021 11:00 -11:45 before the funeral services at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 S. Redwood Rd. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
