With both feet pointing forward, on December 15th, Amy Lou Myers-Wood stepped into the spirit world to meet her family and friends who preceded her.
She was born to Dan and Paulett Myers on February 18, 1972. Survived by her parents, her three sisters Wendy Slama (Mike), Heather Light (Eric) and Michelle Myers, and brother Daniel Myers (Marie), Amy was the social butterfly of the family, quick-witted and loved to be in the spotlight.
Sean Eric Wood was the love of Amy’s life. From admiration and flirting in their youth, their love for one another deepened after they married a second time in 2012.
She was a proud mom of her two daughters, Shawna Myers and Jessica Staten. Dayne Hernandez and Oaklee Myers, her grandchildren were truly the apple of her eye and her favorite subject to talk about.
Although Amy faced many challenges in her life, through her experiences she learned to share true feelings of empathy and charity to those in need. She had a huge heart, sacrificed much to serve others and was known to open her home to anyone who needed relief.
Amy’s life may seem short, but her courage, faith and hope will leave an impression in the hearts of those lives she touched while on this Earth.
