Angela B. Hill Beloved Mother and Grandmother Salt Lake City, UT - Angela (Angie) Brigitte Hill, 59, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2012. Angie was born on January 23, 1953 to Christa Gudrun (Wolf) McCarron and Fritz Wolf in Zwickau, Saxony, E. Germany. Upon immigrating to the United States in 1961 she attended Skyline High School and then moved on to attend Salt Lake City College where she received her certification to become a Lab Technician. She married Kenneth Hill in 1976 and later divorced after 25 years. Angie began her career at ARUP in 1972, where she continued to work until her health forced her into an early retirement in 2011. In the 39 years at ARUP, she touched the lives of the many people she worked with. Angie had a wonderful smile that could light up a room and she never missed an opportunity to smile or laugh. She was a passionate dog lover, and she always had a dog by her side. She loved to knit and crochet, and was always making various crafts for everyone in her life. Angie loved anything that had to do with the outdoors, and she would always take the time to stop and admire the beauty in nature. No matter the season, she always found beauty in her surroundings. She adored children and especially her grandchildren, whom she loved more than anything. Seeing her grandchildren always brought a huge radiant smile to her face. Angie is survived by her children Sean (Amber) Hill, Liz (Neal) Lewis and Teddi (Kevin) Floyd; her five grandchildren Ella and Nicolaas (Hill), Ryan (Lewis), Caleb and Tristan (Floyd); her mother Christa Gudrun McCarron; her sister, Gabriele (Gabi) Camp and her brother, Steve Wolf; her nieces and nephews. Angie was preceded in death by her father, Fritz Wolf. Viewing will be at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, SLC, UT from 6-8 PM on Thursday 5/24/12. Graveside service will be held on Friday 5/25/12 at 11 AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, SLC, UT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
