Anna Drost Dorenbosch A light was dimmed on Sunday, May 1, 2011, when Anna Dorenbosch quietly passed away. Born May 4, 1917 in Friesland, Netherlands to Thijs Drost and Aaltje Gouma. Mom married Cornelis Dorenbosch on August 12, 1936. They raised their family during the war and post war years under very trying circumstances. Their greatest joy was accepting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and being sealed as an eternal family. Mom is survived by her children: Anneke (Bill) Leatherwood, West Valley City; Thijs (Ans), Midwolde, Netherlands; Henk (Judy), South Jordan; and the rest of her posterity which includes 51 grand and great-grand children. Preceded in death by her husband; son, John (Thea Abney); and grandsons, Tim Leatherwood and Andrew Dorenbosch. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2011, 11:00 am at the Salt Lake Granger Stake Center, 2850 West 3835 South, West Valley City, Utah where a viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 - 10:45 am. Burial at Valley View Memorial Park, West Valley City, Utah. Occupation:Janitor
