Anna V. Peterson peacefully passed away Sept. 25, 2016 of natural causes. She was born May 25, 1925 in Somerset, CO to Jacob and Maria Vidmar. She married the love of her life and eternal companion Rex W. Peterson on Aug 1, 1945. Rex preceded her in death on July 27, 1994. Anna faithfully served as a Relief Society teacher, Relief Society President and counselor, and as a Stake missionary with her husband. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her gifts for music and dance, her love for roses, her dedication to BYU sports, and her devotion to family and friends. She is survived by her three children Craig Peterson (Kathy), Jan Trost (Phil), Carol Kohrman (Jeff); 15 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT, on Friday, Sept. 30th from 11-12:00 noon with graveside services to follow at 12:30 at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT.
