Annette Redmond Jolley, 56, passed away on September 5, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She had a long battle with cancer, one that she continued fighting until her heart no longer could.
Born in Sandy, UT on October 3, 1965 to David L. Redmond Sr. and Penny Marie Cowan. Growing up she was very athletic. She played volleyball, softball, and basketball. She was on the Jordan High school track and field team. Her love for sports never ended. She loved watching the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos.
Annette made many connections while being a General Manager for Papa Johns along with her years with Discover Financial Services. She was driven for knowledge. She was focused on receiving an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from SLCC and Bachelor’s in Business Management.
She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, and fishing. She had a gorgeous rose garden in memory of her mother. Annette had a tremendous heart; she was always willing to help anyone in need. You could always count on her to make you smile. No matter her age, she was a child at heart. Her heart was even bigger when it came to her furry animals. She rescued several animals over the years. She always thrived to give them the best life she could.
Annette got to marry the love of her life Carolyn “Turtle” Jolley, December 2013. Their love was one for the books. Nothing the two of them wouldn’t do for each other.
She is survived by her wife Carolyn, sister AnnaMarie (Paul), brother David (Deana), sister Elizabeth (Justin), Marjean, Hal, and Kent. She had nine nieces and nephews, several great nieces, and nephews.
Viewings will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 6:00–8:00 PM at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah and prior to the services from 10:00 -10:45 AM. Funeral service, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mc Dougal Funeral Home. Interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Millcreek, Utah.
