Anthonius Johannes Landaal Jr.

Anthonius J. Landaal Jr. "Tony" Anthonius Johannes Landaal Jr., 61, died August 22, 2014 in West Valley City, Utah from complication of diabetes. Born July 15, 1953 in Amsterdam, Holland, son of Anthonius Johannes Sr. and Jitske Kuin Landaal. Tony came to the United States July 29, 1954 and became a proud US Citizen. He worked in the construction and transportation industry. Tony loved fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. Tony was a simple man and only required the love of his family. Survived by children: Timothy (Jennifer) Landaal; mother, Jitske; sisters Marie, Alyda, Jodi and Anne; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Preceded in death by father; sister, Jitske Patricia Landaal; great-niece, Ashlee Dawn Tomlin. A viewing will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014, 5-7:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses or to the American Diabetes Association in his name.
