Antonia Santos

Antonia Santos passed on June 20, 2017, in Salt Lake City, Utah, after many years of illness. Antonia was born on March 28, 1936, in Morovis, Puerto Rico, to Esteban Santos and Maria Rivera. She had 11 siblings. She was a loving mother to three sons, Angel Torres, Luis Torres and Jose Torres. Antonia was an amazing woman. Not just for her strength, but for her heart that gave so much throughout her life. She has created many memories of happiness and built a strong family that will carry her legacy to future generations. She lived for her family and will continue to watch over us until we are reunited. We celebrate a life that was filled with so much love and joy, and her love will continue to flow throughout her entire family. She was preceded in death by her father, Esteban Santos; mother, Maria Rivera; and by numerous family members that impacted her life. She is survived by Angel (Dorrene) Torres, Luis Torres, and Jose Torres; 17 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren. Our hearts are heavy with Antonia's passing, but know she will be looking over everyone from now until forever. We will all deeply miss you mom and grandma. We thank you for impacting all our lives. Funeral services will be from 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, in Taylorsville. A viewing will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
