Arden Molen Baxter

Arden M. Baxter Beloved Father Arden Molen Baxter passed away March 11, 2013 in Murray, Utah. Born October 21, 1930 in Newton, Utah to Simpson Molen and Irene Johnson Baxter. He joined the Navy in 1947 and was a rescue swimmer on the USS Lloyd Thomas. He was an avid hunter and outdoors man. Loved his family, the mountains and all animals. Survived by children Terry (Segrid) Baxter, Sandra (John) Merrill, Shellie Acker, Leland (Helen) Baxter, Kristine (David) Ferry; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brother Clinton (Lou) Baxter; sister Wanda (LaMar) Webb. Preceded in death by wife Dorothy Petersen; parents; sisters Clyone (Earl D.) Lowe, LaRee (Norman) Ricks; great-grandson Manuel Duran. Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel, 5927 S. Parkwood Dr. (5030 W.) where a viewing will be held, 12-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Interment, Taylorsville Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
