Arlys Virginia Dennis

Arlys Virginia Dennis passed away peacefully on October 4, 2014. Arlys was born March 15, 1921, in Des Moines, Iowa, daughter of Frank H. and Edith Kelsey Dale. In 1939 she married her beloved husband, Harold H. Dennis. Arlys adored her children and grandchildren, and always had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed camping with the family, and they would do so at every opportunity. Arlys is survived by her son, Darrell Dennis of West Jordan, Utah; sisters, Darleen and Dorothy; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry Dennis; daughter, Elaine Barton; and daughter, Maralee Hammock. She will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014, 6-7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment will follow, beside her husband, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East, Sandy, UT.
