Arnold Clifford Berg, 71, of Taylorsville Utah passed away holding his loving wife's hand and surrounded by his family on June 4th 2023 after a short battle with cancer. Born to Clifford Berg and Grace Parmley Berg, Arnie married his high school sweetheart Bobbie who he shared 51 beautiful years of marriage with, sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity.
Arnie was a genuinely kind, loving and giving Husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who brought so much joy to this world; sharing his love for life with everyone he knew and bringing smiles to the faces of countless children and adults over the years through his passion, Monster Bubbles. Arnie lived a life of service; a military veteran, one of 8 children, a father of 5 children, grandfather to 21, and great grandfather to 6. Arnie was always available for anything from coaching baseball, running Boy Scout troops, church callings, car repairs, home repairs, or for anything in between he could offer help or advice on.
Arnie served in the US Navy for two years and was a Vietnam War veteran after which he went on to enjoy a 40 year career at the US Postal Service. After retirement, he enjoyed spending his days camping, golfing, landscaping, spending time with his family, and running his bubble business, Monster Bubbles. Through Monster Bubbles, he was able to continue his love for inventing and tinkering, always looking for the perfect solutions for making the biggest and best bubbles, and sharing joy with as many people as possible.
During his short battle with pancreatic cancer, Arnie was in awe of all the love, support and acts of service he received on both his and his families behalf and is grateful for those that helped along the way. The family is particularly grateful for the love and support he received from the hospice nurses who cared for him like family. Arnie is survived by his loving wife Bobbie Berg (Lee), their children Tiffiney Peterson [Dave], Shane Berg [Jenna], Justin Berg [Rachanee], Melanie Davis [Nate] and many other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his son Chad Berg and his parents Clifford and Grace Berg.
