Arthur Lee Kersey

Arthur Lee Kersey 1935 ~ 2012 Arthur Lee Kersey, born August 17, 1935 in Lake Garfield , Florida. He passed of congestive heart failure on the morning of November 13, 2012. Gramps had lived a life of quiet and dedicated service to others. He found his greatest joy in his family and in nature. He loved to camp and fish. Art was a friend to all who knew him. Art served in the Army National Guard. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He married Yvonne Hendry on June 29, 1952. His marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Art is survived by his wife of 60 years, Yvonne; two daughters: Cindy (Ed) and Rhonda (Ron); eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Edward; mother, Bertha; 2 brothers and 1 sister; daughter, Cheryl Lee; grandson, Matthew. Thanks to Haven Hospice and Legacy House for their loving care. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. A viewing will be from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
