Audrey Hagins Woman of Great Faith Audrey Rose Haynie Hagins, 84, died March 28, 2012 in Sandy, Utah. Born May 30, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of Charles Emory and Grace Cromwell Katz Haynie. Married Thomas Ray Hagins Sr. October 13, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland; later solemnized in the Washington DC Temple May 14, 1992. Active member of the LDS Church. Survived by daughter-in-law, Joyce Ann Durnal Hagins, of South Carolina; grandson, Thomas (Tonya) Hagins III; great-grandchildren, Zachary Michael Hagins, Chelsea Anne Louise Hagins and Chayse Hagins; sister, Mary Evelyn Balint, of Maryland. Preceded in death by parents, husband and son, Thomas Ray Hagins Jr. Audrey would want to express appreciation to friends who became her family at Legacy Retirement and Assisted Living. A special thanks also to Kim Anderton and Craig Hall who care for her deeply and became her family. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 2, 2012, 12:00 noon at the Taylorsville 25th Ward, 4505 South 3420 West where a viewing will be held at the church, 10:30-11:40 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund or Missionary Fund. Occupation:Secretary
