Barbara Alice Spain

Born in Hansen, Idaho on July 25, 1934, died October 12, 2015. She had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She married Charles Spain on September 16, 1950. She was a resident of Kearns for 50 years. A longtime member of the LDS Church and served many callings. We would like to thank Leslie, Sheri, Tiffany and nurse Ginny of Intermountain Hospice. Also to all of the hospital staff that took such great care of her. Survived by her beloved husband, Charles, of 65 years; brother Russell Dutt; children Vivian (Bruce) Christensen, Curtis (Shirley) Spain, Les (Julie) Spain; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 2 brothers. Above all else, she cherished her family and died peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Kearns 6th Ward, 4260 West 5215 South. Viewings will be held Friday, October 16th , 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and prior to services, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
