Barbara Lorraine Armstrong Roller Lamoreaux
Barbara, born to Paul and Geraldine Armstrong on September 22, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of March 26, 2025.
Barbara was the oldest of three children; she grew up with 3 younger brothers in a quaint little house in the Avenues. She graduated from East High School. After high school Barbara went to school to become an LPN which she talked about often and enjoyed greatly.
Not much after, she met and married John Charles Roller (later divorced) and had two children, Mark Charles Roller and Corrine Paulette Roller. The family moved in several different states, and Barbara later returned to Salt Lake City. Barbara then married Locy "Dee" Lamoreaux, and the two were married until his passing in 2002.
Barbara had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She also enjoyed watching operas, musicals, and old movies.
She never met an animal she didn't love and had many pets through the years. She passed on this love to her children, granddaughter, and great grandchildren. Her granddaughter Charlotte remembers having many sleepovers at her Grandma Barbara's with walks to Liberty park to play and feed the ducks, and to Trolley Square to see movies.
We have so many amazing memories from our time with Grandma Barbara, like going over to her house on halloween, birthday lunches, Easter's, and Christmas's. She will be greatly missed, though we are so happy she is back with her husband, parents, brothers, friends, and the many animals she has lost over the years.
Survived by brother Gilbert (Renae) Armstrong, son Mark (Marti) Roller, daughter Corrine (Lonnie) Reddoor, Granddaughter Charlotte Townsend, Great-Granddaughters Marlayna (Sam) Despres, Megan (Thomas) Padjen, and Michaela Townsend.
Preceded in death by her Mother and Father, spouse Locy "Dee" Lamoreaux, brothers Thomas and Ronald
