Barbara Thomson

Barbara Woodard Thomson, age 85, passed away May 14, 2023, in West Valley City, Utah, and was reunited with the love of her life, Herbie, 28 years after his passing.

Born -- February 7, 1938, in Upalco, Utah, daughter of Ralph L. Woodard and Naomi M. Woodard. Married -- Herbert Thomson December 22, 1955, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Retired from Philips Electronics after 30 years of service. She was an avid scuba diver, golfer, loved traveling to Hawaii, and spending time with her family.

Survived by one son and three daughters, Barbara (James) St. Clair, West Valley City; William R. (Joanne) Thomson, Kearns; Betty (John) Smith, West Valley City; Brenda (Donald) Petersen, Tooele; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dale. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, Utah, on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM.
