Belva Brown Tye BelvaDear Belva Brown Tye returned home to her Heavenly Father February 26, 2013, at the age of 85. Born in Taylorsville on October 22, 1927 to Cloyd and Gladys Brown. Married her eternal companion, Ralph Wayne Tye, on October 14, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. As a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend, Belva loved to spend time with her family celebrating birthdays, traveling or watching the grandkids and great grandkids swim in the pool. Belva loved being surrounded by her family or her good friends and club friends. Belva enjoyed traveling with her husband and family and saw much of the country in their motor home. She also enjoyed sewing, gardening and supporting her grandkids in their endeavors down the street or traveling as far as California to watch them play. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Belva fulfilled many callings during her church service. Most recently, she grew to love indexing family history.
