Beth Tolley Burton

Taylorsville, UT Our Mother, "Grandma Sweetheart", Sister and Friend, got her angel wings early Tuesday morning March 9, 2016 at the age of 86. Born February 20, 1930 in Nephi, Utah to Rex and Gladys Tolley. Mom grew up in Nephi with 3 siblings, Maurice, Charles and Susan. Married Glenn Ross Burton February 3, 1950 in the Manti Temple. She was an active member of the LDS church. She went to Beauty school and was a beautician for many years, working out of her basement home in Sugar House so she could be home with us kids. Together they had four children: Peggy (Dennis), Brad (Sally), Jeff (Myrl), Debby (Chad). Mom had 14 grandkids, and 23 great-grandkids. Mom loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved decorating and celebrating holidays and made them special for everyone, especially Christmas! She had an amazing collection of angels, and now she has joined them. She is preceded in death by father Rex; mother Gladys; sister-in-law Iris; brother Maurice; son-in-law Dennis Hansen; grandson Jared Bybee; and great-grandson Rix Wilkinson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at Bennion Ward, 5980 South 1300 West. Viewings will be held Friday, March 11, 6-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Saturday prior to services, 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Nephi City Cemetery.
