Beverly Lou Ruth

Beverly Lou Ruth, 67, passed away April 22, 2014 of natural causes. Our loving mother, grandma and great grandma has been reunited with her loving husband and family that she has deeply missed. She was born November 22, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois to Carl Arthur Allison and Annie Marcella Miller. She married Dennis Brown; later divorced. They had three children: Pamela Jean Naylor (Garth) , Cynthia Lou Walker (Mel) and Dale Ann Brown (Mitch) . She later married Michael W Ruth September 28, 2001. They had numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren together. Her most important calling in life was being the best mom and she was. She stayed awake many nights, sewing our clothes and hand crafting our Christmas gifts. She spent many selfless hours as the PTA President, Brownie leader and organized many school talent shows. She headed up a program in our elementary called American Indian Education. Her Indian heritage was very dear to her heart. We joined 4-H in 1978, she organized many events, and sewed our parade outfits for the entire 4-H group. She was an amazing floral designer and loved making jewelry and crocheting blankets. Through her talents she has left behind an amazing legacy. She also loved to dance and sing to the oldies and spent time with family.
