Blaine Arliss Wilcox

Blaine A. Wilcox 1922 ~ 2013 Blaine A. Wilcox returned to his Heavenly Father August 11, 2013 at the age of 91. He was born June 22, 1922 in Fielding, Utah, son of Ebenezer O. Wilcox Jr. and Kjersti Nordberg Wilcox. He was the youngest of seven children and the last to pass away. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon McMillan, and joyfully looked forward to their reunion. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and returned home to attend BYU where he met Genevieve Hansen. They were married April 20, 1949 and became the parents of five boys and one girl: Richard Blaine (JoAnn), Douglas Reeve (Claudia), James David (Connie), Steven Glenn (Charmaine), Brian Keith (Wendy), and the late Sharon McMillan (Bryce). He has 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was a Salt Lake City business owner and St. George Realtor. He served a mission in the California Anaheim Mission with his wife, and spent many years teaching the gospel and serving in the temple. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, faith and devotion to family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Saturday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Fielding Cemetery.
