Blanche Ellen Carter Stitcher, 81, loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma passed away peacefully on January 4, 2019.
Blanche was preceded in death by her husband William Allen (Bill); son Allen Carter; and brother Lin (surviving wife Linda).
Blanche is survived by her sister, Ilene Devers; son Dave; and his wife Lori; daughter Jodie; son Craig; and his wife Kristina. Blanche has 9 grandchildren: Colton and his wife Liz, Nick, Will, Hunter, Jake, William, Mikaylee, David, and Carter. Blanche has 1 great grandchild, Leo and another coming any day.
Blanche graduated from East High School. After working four years as a RNA, she decided to serve a mission in the Atlantic States from 1960-62. While there she converted her future husband Bill. Blanche and Bill were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 6, 1963. She and Bill lived in North Carolina, Utah, Arizona, Florida, Utah, New Mexico and finally settled in Utah, where Bill retired after 21 years of military service. Blanche enjoyed most her family, friends and Club followed by, singing, poetry, and watching her children compete.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 12, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Jordan North 4th Ward Building on 4270 South Falcon Street (4145 West) West Valley City, Utah. There will be a viewing that same day and location from 9:30-10:45. The interment will be directly after that at Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City.
