David Robert Brown, known to all as Bob, passed away February 14, 2019. He was born December 28, 1947 to Bob and Mary Lou Brown. He was an avid skier and worked at the Brighton Ski Resort when he was younger. He joined the Navy Reserves and then started a career with the telephone company where he retired after 35 years of service. Besides spending time with his family, Bob’s passion was boating at Flaming Gorge, where he added a whole new family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Bud Andersen. He is survived by his wife BJ; son Scott Brown (Kristen Rich); grandchildren, Dylan, Shaunie, Kylee, & Kohyn Brown; sisters, Debbie (Mo) Salti, Carrie (Paul) Barker; niece Erica Salti; nephew Zak Salti; and several other family and former wife Kaye Brown.
A special thanks to his extended family at Lucerne Valley Marina and the Boardwalk Dock for always being there for him. He loved you all so much. Also, thanks to Aspen Ridge Rehab and Hospice for making his last days comfortable.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 24th, 4-7:00 p.m. at the Old Mill Golf Course, 6080 S. Wasatch Blvd.
