Robert “Bob” Charles Peglau, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home in his wife’s arms on Saturday, February 16th. Born to William and Mabel Peglau November 22, 1931. He married Joe Ann Twelves on February 14, 1955.
He served his country in the Korean war, served his community on the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Department and retired form Swire Cola Cola in 1997. He loved his yard, fixing things, and reading constantly.
He spent his retired years traveling with family and friends, but the best times were Sunday mornings with his brother and sister-in-law (Bill & Carol). Bob loved to visit with his family discussing anything and was always supportive and willing to share what his many years had taught him. Bob’s influence on his family will live on forever and no amount of time with such a wonderful man could be enough.
He is survived by his wife Joe Ann Peglau, son Mike (Kim) Peglau, son Tom (Wendy) Peglau, daughter Judy Peglau Carter and son Rob Peglau. Bob also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren who will all miss him dearly.
A memorial will be held Friday, February 22, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, Utah
