Bonnie entered this world on a beautiful spring day in 1933, April 11th at Ogden, Utah, surrounded by loving parents and brothers. She attended Ogden schools with interests in art, leadership, and music. At eleven years old she was asked to be the organist at church. After attending Weber College, she first saw her sweetheart at church and they were married for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in 1953. Her first two children were born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, but being home sick she returned to Utah then had 3 more children to love. She served in many church callings including Stake Young Women’s President. After raising 5 children, she entered the workforce with Abbott Laboratories, retiring after 13 years.
She is survived by, husband, M. Wesley Cox; children, Lauraleee Williams (Dick), James Wesley Cox, Nathan Cox (Calla), Steven Cox (Deby), and Melonie Aldous; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and brother Dean W. Hurst.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2021, 10:30 a.m. with a viewing prior from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Services will be livestreamed for friends to watch at: https://vimeo.com/513480586
