Bonnie Jean Fleming Blight

April 7, 1937 — May 2, 2012

BONNIE JEAN BLIGHT Our forever loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, Bonnie Jean Fleming Blight, returned peacefully home to her Heavenly Father to reunite with her loving husband, Gayson, and son, Craig Blight, on May 2, 2012. She was born April 7, 1937 to Louis and Virginia Burris Fleming the second of three children. They were a loving family, and though she loved her brother, Frank, it was with her sister, Sharon, that Bonnie had a special and life long bond. They enjoyed so many great times together, their weekend shopping excursions, planning family parties, but mostly just loved, supported and enjoyed each others company. Bonnie met her one true love, Gayson Blight and they were married August 26, 1967; later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Together they raised a loving and close family of four daughters and one son. Both Bonnie and Gayson were hard working parents. Bonnie worked as a waitress at Hot Shoppes which later became Little America for well over 30 years. Gayson was a meat cutter and they rode to work together every morning for about the last 15 years before they retired. The family enjoyed many vacations over the years, mostly boating and camping. Later Bonnie and Gayson treated the family to an Alaskan cruise which was amazing. She and Gayson also enjoyed the many vacations and fun they had with Parley and Elaine over the years.. We will miss her warm and bubbly spirit, and her kindness and generosity to family and friends that will never be forgotten. Her faithful companion, Jiggs, remained by her side to the end. She is survived by her children: Sherry (Sherm) Margetts; daughter-in-law, Marci Blight; Kim (Jay) Powell, Tammy (Cory) Hardman, Becky (Bryan) Snyder; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Mike) Westberg. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gayson; son, Craig; brother, Frank; grandson-in-law, Nathan. Thanks to Rocky Mountain Hospice and a special thanks to Kathy, Melissa & Brandon for their support. A very special thanks to Bonnie s daughters, Kim, Tammy and Becky; daughter-in-law, Marci; sister, Sharon and granddaughter, Kaylie for their kind, gentle, respectful and loving devotion to Bonnie through this difficult and tender time.
