Bradford P. Baum 1928 ~ 2011 Bradford Phillip Baum, 83, passed away December 24, 2011 surrounded by his family and dear friend in West Jordan, Utah. Born May 16, 1928 in Heber City, Utah to Thomas Jefferson and Irene Streeter Baum. Married Marie Frandsen August 12, 1950 in American Fork, Utah. He joined the US Marine Corp during WWII. He was a certified welder, painter and body and fender repairman. He worked for the Army 41 years at Dugway Proving Ground and Tooele Army Depot. In 1991 he went to Saudi Arabia during Deseret Storm where he spent 6 months. Served in the Cub Scout organization for 10 years, first as a committee member and then as a Cub Master. Brad has had many cats over the years including one he brought back from Saudi Arabia. He loved them dearly and looks forward to being reunited with them. Survived by daughter, Carol (Bruce) McDonald, West Valley City; sons, Phillip (Donna), Murray; Darol (Raelynn), Bluffdale, Lynn (Marcia) West Valley City; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Tommy; son, Ted Cameron. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all others who cared for him in his last days. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Friday, 10-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
