Brittani Lauren Pearce

I hate to leave you all behind, but we'll meet again one day. Brittani "B-tani" Lauren Pearce, age 25 of West Jordan, Utah passed away January 24, 2016. This precious angel was born on March 2, 1990 in Mesa, Az. Moving to Utah before her first birthday, she grew up in the Salt Lake Valley, attending Majestic and Mountain Shadows Elementary, West Hills Middle and West Jordan High School. Growing up she enjoyed playing basketball and being involved in other sports and activities with her friends and family. She had a passion for music and writing, and hoped one day to see the world. One of her favorite places to travel with her mom was the beach - especially Florida to visit Uncle John. She was an avid swimmer and loved to recount her memories of spending hot AZ summer days in the pool when visiting Grandma. Brittani is survived by her mom Ann Crissman; her little brother Carson Crissman; stepfather John Crissman ("Dad"); sister Erica Grissmerson; brothers Mike and Nick Crissman, Cody and Dillon Gifford and Derek Taylor. Also, her extended family including Uncle John Pearce, Grandma Nancy Pearce and Grandparents David and Betty Gifford, stepmom Tina Peoples-Gifford; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her father Ken Gifford; grandparents William and Betty Crissman, and Richard Pearce. Brittani will be dearly missed by those who loved her, and remembered for the generosity of her heart. Memorial service to celebrate her life and memories will be held from 3pm -5 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road in Taylorsville, Utah.
