Bruce Jan Anderson passed away in his home on June 1, 2022, at the age of age of 55, just eight days before his 56th birthday. His battle with serious medical issues in the recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Bruce came out a hero and stayed strong throughout it all.
Bruce graduated with a 4.0 receiving a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts in the year 2000. Bruce loved spending time in the kitchen and preparing the finest meal as an executive chef for his family and restaurants he worked in. Bruce shared and passed on his love for cooking to his kids Nathan and Amber as well as his grandson Dj.
Bruce loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, computer gaming, fishing, watching movies and spending time with his family.
Bruce was survived by his wife Teresa Anderson of 36 years; son Nathan Anderson; daughter Amber Lopez; grandson Dj; mother Linda Busby; and his two brothers Brett and Bryan Anderson.
We plan on keeping Bruce’s spirit alive by planting his ashes as a tree in the future.
Until then, a small gathering for family and friends will be held at McDougal Funeral Home on Friday, June 10, 2022, 6:00-8:00 p.m., 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
