Our beloved sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Buelah Lindsay Wittenbach passed away at her home November 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Buelah was born January 30, 1930 in Eden, Utah to David C. Lindsay and Alice Vivian Cheney. Buelah was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved the temple, and had a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She graduated from Weber High School in Ogden, Utah, class of 1948. Buelah continued her education at Dee Hospital School of Nursing in Ogden, Utah. She went on to have a successful career as an executive secretary and later retired from Colt Trucking. Buelah married Lloyd W. Bolton, Jr. in 1956; they were later divorced. They had four children; Dianne (Glenn) Rackley, Richard L. (Bonnie) Bolton, David Layne Bolton, and Shari Aldossari. Buelah was married to Orville Wittenbach in 1967; they were later divorced. Buelah loved photography, playing the piano, and singing in the choir. Buelah always made sure to get photos at every family get together, which she would then organize and share with everyone. Her talent for singing and passion for music included singing with the Jay Welch Chorale and the Choral Arts Society of Utah. Buelah often performed at many prestigious venues including traveling to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall and later to Europe to celebrate Mozart's 350th anniversary. Buelah is survived by her four children, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, half-sister Ella Martin Reeder, brothers David S. Lindsay and W. Dean (Mary) Lindsay, sisters Trilba Lindsay and Deanna Miles, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David C. Lindsay and Alice Vivian Cheney, half-sisters Lydia Hill and Ina Hall, half-brother John Lindsay, and grandchildren Peter Rackley and David Lynn Bolton. A viewing will be held Wednesday, November 18th, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 19th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one-hour prior, at the Taylorsville 3rd ward, 1457 West Atherton Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
