Butch Otto A. Fisher

Butch passed away peacefully in his home on April 6, 2016 after a long battle with PostPolio Syndrome. He was born December 6, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Otto A. Fisher II and Louise Ruth Daugherty Fisher (Speer) Butch graduated from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1959. He began a career at Motor Cargo in 1968. He worked for Motor Cargo for 38 years as a swing shift dispatcher, later becoming the Shift Supervisor. Butch enlisted in the US Army in 1964 and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer (W2) on his birthday in 2000. Proudly serving for 27 years. Butch met Alene Eskelson Whitehead (Cloward) in 1976 and raised her two children Dawnyta and Amber as his own. He continued loving and supporting the girls after he and Alene separated. Survived by his daughter Dawnyta Whitehead (Marlo) Davis. Four grandchildren; Mitchell Davis, Kelson Davis, Madisyn Davis and Breezy Davis. His brother Jim (Jane) Fischer, sisters Cathleen (Del) Sanderson and Carolynn (Bill) Gavin and several nieces and nephews. As well as good neighbors and friends Rondo Russell and Jack Riggs. Preceded in death by his daughter Amber Whitehead (Matthew) Charles. His parents and sister Julie Fisher Butler. A viewing will be held on Tuesday April 12th from 68 pm. Services held on Wednesday April 13th at 11:00 am at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 South Redwood Road Burial held at 12:30 at Mt Olivet Cemetery 1342 East Fifth South
