Our beloved, husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on March 27, 2020 at 4:35 a.m. He was reunited with his Savior Jesus Christ and family waiting for him.
Butch had a deep faith in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit and called the mountains his church; what more beautiful church than the one God created.
Butch was loved by his family and friends, and he loved each in a very special way. Butch loved wintering in Arizona, Campground Hosting in the Uinta Mountains, reading, playing cards & cribbage with family and friends, and making jewelry. Butch was a carpenter for 30 years and a member of A.A.; they saved his life with God’s help.
He passed due to a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
He is survived by his wife Rose of 57 years; sons, Boyd Van Buskirk, Paul Van Buskirk (Jena), Allen Van Buskirk, and Brian Van Buskirk; daughters, Michelle Chatterton (Dale), Raquel Hertig (Greg); 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Elaine Cox, Jean Osterhout (Dennis), Donna Wilkey (Curtis); and many cousins.
We want to express our deepest thanks to Life Care for the wonderful loving care you gave to Butch.
We want to thank Symbii Hospice for the wonderful care you provided for both Butch and Rose.
We as a family would like to send a special thank you for every caregiver that took care of Butch. You have a special place in our hearts.
Rest in Peace our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. You will forever be in our hearts until we meet again – your loving family.
~ Rest in peace, my Dear Husband.
