Camille H Gates

Camille H. Gates 1957 ~ 2016 Camille "Cami" Henrie Gates, beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend passed peacefully on Wednesday February 3, 2016. She was born the youngest of nine children on December 2, 1957 to loving parents Arvel and Ione Henrie. Cami was married to Kevin Gates, later divorced. From this union came her beloved son, Marshall, who was the light of her life. She was a wonderful mother to her beautiful blue eyed boy, who she has missed terribly since his passing. We are sure they have had a joyful heavenly reunion. Cami loved to go camping and spend time near the ocean and especially enjoyed a trip to Europe, where she visited Spain and France. Cami worked for many years at American Express. She loved her work there and the many friendships she made through the years. Cami adored her puppies Chunk and Trouble, and they were great companions to her. She was a special aunt to her nieces and nephews and loved to attend their ball games and events, and always knew how to make them feel special. While we will miss her, we are thankful that she is free of pain and suffering and is at peace. Cami was preceded in death by her parents; cherished son Phillip Marshall Gates; sisters-in-law, Cleo (Walter) and Linda (Roger) LeFevre; and nephews, Jeff Ricks and Brian Henrie. Cami is survived by her brothers and sisters, Craig C. (Tonya) Henrie, Arlene (Gary) Knowles, Lorraine (Alden) Kapp, Larry K. (Kim) LeFevre, Karen A. (Erris) Dissel, John A. (Melissa) Henrie, Roger A. LeFevre, and Walter D. )Roberta) LeFevre; and many nieces and nephews; she loved them all. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 8, 2016, 11:00 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held prior to services, 9-10:45 a.m. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 South Memory Lane.
