Carl David Haygood

Carl David Haygood June 23, 1967-June 24, 2012 Devoted Father, loving Brother and a true friend, Dave Haygood passed away tragically in his home on June 24, 2012. He was born June 23, 1967 to William Floyd Haygood and Eleanor Marlene (O Neal) Haygood. Dave was an avid outdoorsman. He loved camping, hiking and skiing. He was a very personable man who made many life long friends in his personal and professional life. Dave worked hard and played even harder. He jumped into retail sales right out of high school and quickly worked his way up to management which lead him to a career in the Optical field. Dave worked as an A.B.O. certified optician for the last 15 years. He mastered many aspects of making glasses and was very respected in his field. From his marriage, he was blessed with 2 wonderful sons with whom he shared his love of the outdoors, music and many adventures. Family and friends will forever cherish memories of Dave dancing to Reggae with a smile on his face, cooking for an army behind his grill and cruising on his motorcycle. David is survived by his Sons- Graison Tyler Haygood, Jaeden Riley Haygood, Father -Bill Haygood, Sister- Ann (Brady) Henley, Brothers- Paul (Launi) Haygood, Kyle (Kristy) Haygood, and 6 nieces and nephews, Preceded in death by his Mother, Marlene Haygood.
