Carl Eldon Olsen

Carl Eldon Olsen 1978 ~ 2016 Carl Eldon Olsen was born in Corvallis, Oregon May 2, 1978. He died January 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Velvet and three daughters, Grace, Laura, and Kate; his parents, Eldon and Janeil Olsen, and four siblings, Kenneth, Neil, Sheryl Dodge, and Brenda Andrus. Carl graduated from Oregon State University and received his Masters of Library Science at San Jose State. At the time of his death he worked for the USPS. Carl had a curiosity for learning and a quest for meaning and fulfillment, and he loved deep discussions with friends and family. He loved reading, camping, collecting books, PBS, and music. Carl was a devoted father and a deeply caring person who will be greatly missed. There will be a memorial gathering for the family. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
