Carl Erickson

Beloved brother and uncle, Carl "Eric" Erickson, 55 passed away October 5, 2023 in West Jordan, Utah. Eric was born on 12/31/1967 in SLC, Utah to Raymond Erickson and Shirley Heeding Erickson. Eric was the 8th kid out of 8, Our caboose.

Eric lost his father at 15 months old to the same cancer that took Eric from us. Eric had a tight bond with our mother until she passed when he was 13 years old.

Eric worked for Ballard Medical for many years where he met life long friends.

At the time of his cancer diagnosis, Eric was working for Beijer in the Logistics dept. Eric's words: "Beijer, it's the best company an American can work for because it's Swedish"

Eric had a love for Vampires, Star Trek, Korean movies, Kpop, and Madonna. He learned the dance moves to all of her songs. This is just a small part of what Eric loved.

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Karen Maloney, and his beloved dog, Spookie. Eric leaves behind his siblings Craig (Shirley) Erickson, Brent (Rita) Erickson, Claudia (Glen) Mills, Sharon Erickson, Brian Erickson, Julie (Lance) Miller, his brother-in-law, Larry Maloney, and his girlfriend of many years, Kimberly Peterson. He had a special bond with Kimberly's parents David and Janie Hansen (He loved to watch Dr. Who with Janie). David and Janie Hansen willingly filled the gap he so needed because of losing his parents at such a young age. Last but not least, Eric leaves behind his beloved pets, Taz, Angel, and Nova.

Eric meant more to his family than he ever understood. He will be missed beyond words.
