Carla Marshall McIntosh, youngest of 12 children, born 11/13/1935, died 3/10/2018. Carla is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Maynard Bevan McIntosh. They were high school sweethearts and lifelong best friends. They loved their four children: Pam Casper (Calvin), Mark McIntosh (Penny), Scott McIntosh (Vicky), & Patrice Thorup (Paul). She had fun with 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Preceded in death by her daughter Patrice Thorup, son-in-law Calvin Casper, her parents and all eleven of her older siblings. Easter and Christmas Eve Parties were her favorite holidays, because she loved being around all those kids and seeing the smiles on their faces. Carla was famous for her fudge, the hug anyone received when they walked in the door and the wave goodbye at the window when you left. She will always be remembered for screaming at the TV when BYU football and basketball games were playing. She had a love of the outdoors, Bunco Club and winning at card games like 13 and Pound Pound. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Taylorsville Paradise Ward, 1555 W. Lovely Road. Viewings will be held Friday, March 16th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and again Saturday at the church from 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South.
