Carol Ann Hansen Sterzer, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on February 4, 2024, surrounded by family members. She was a devout and devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, who demonstrated her devotion in her daily life. She was greeted on the other side of the veil by the many who have preceded her and love her dearly.
Carol is survived and mourned deeply by her husband, Kenneth Lynn Sterzer, seven children, Susan Sterzer, Cindy( David) Bane, Steven (Sue) Sterzer, Scott (Donna) Sterzer, Kathy Newkirk (Mike Prince), Ann Welker (Craig Andrews), and David Sterzer, 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great-grandchildren, and the multitude of descendants and acquaintances who have known and loved her in this life.
She was fiercely in love with "the best looking man" she ever laid eyes on for almost 72 years. She raised a household full of rambunctious kiddos and was able to do it all, it seemed, while experiencing life to the fullest.
She was an accomplished ballroom dancer with her "honey" and always had a smile and twinkle in her eye. Carol was a loyal friend, avid collector of exquisite dolls, loved to sing and play piano. Her passion was learning and accomplishing anything she put her mind to.
Carol was a very tenacious genealogical researcher and willing church worker and administrator, devoted especially to the women and young women. She was a gifted teacher and served 14 years as a temple ordinance worker along with her husband in two different temples.
Our sweet and sassy little lady will be sorely missed by so many lives she touched along her path. We are grateful now her memory is sharp and body is strong. She will be busy watching over her ONLY man and many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. See you on the other side sweetheart when we gain our wings.
