Carol Brown Turnbow has been called Home to be with The Lord and her one true love, Steven Turnbow, on August 26, 2022.
Carol was born to Lorenzo Brown and Elma Gibbons on September 20, 1937.
Carol is survived by four children: Kimberly (Butch) Chamberlain, Kerry (Cindy) Rasmussen, Kaylynn Rasmussen and Don Perkins. Carol had 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren; who all brought her so much joy, pride and happiness.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; and five brothers.
She is survived by one sister Sherrie (Jim) Miller. She also has many nieces and nephews that are very dearly loved.
Carol led an exciting and adventurous life; traveling with Steven as he served his duty in The United States Air Force. She made friends everywhere she went and truly enjoyed meeting new people. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who love her, but especially by her children.
Carol loved all animals and found it difficult (if not impossible) to turn away a stray.
In lieu of flowers it is asked that donations be made in Carol's name to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital or The American Humane Society.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, where visitations will be held Thursday, September 1st, 6-8:00 p.m. and again prior to services from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
