Carole Edith Johnson Moore

1956 ~ 2024

Carole Edith Johnson Moore was born to the late Edith Carter and Frank Chester (Chet) Johnson on May 3, 1956. Carole lived her life in Taylorsville, Utah. She passed away peacefully at home, October 20, 2024, after a long struggle with diabetes.

Carol was married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to Robert Moore, August 12, 2000.

After attending four colleges and receiving a Master's Degree, Carole taught English in China for a short time. She then started a career teaching Elementary School in the Salt Lake City School District. She was nominated by a student and received the award of "Who's Who Among American Teachers." Carole had a thirst for learning. She obtained several school endorsements.

After retiring, she continued taking classes with a focus on natural healing. She was always asking questions and trying to learn new things everywhere she went.

Carole was ready to go for a ride or a trip and did not care where or for how long. She went to Europe on a vacation with her mother; on day or overnight trips with her cousins, and Bob took her for short rides somewhere EVERY DAY.

Carole was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and spent many hours doing Temple work and studying the scriptures. (She loved the Temple.)

She is survived by her husband Robert and her nephews, Jeremy, Anthony, and Corey (Chandreyee) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Chet Johnson, and her brother Craig Johnson.

Graveside Service and Burial will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, 12:00 noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Sough Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah.
