"Little Red"
Mom was born April 23, 1933 in Santaquin, Utah to Frank Roland Tuckett and Adaleen Larson. Dad and Mom met on a blind date and soon were married in the Salt Lake Temple on November 21, 1952.
Mom graduated from Payson High School and went to Westminster College and studied to be a nurse. She was an exceptional seamstress and worked for Beehive Clothing, Osborne Apparel, Pyke Manufacturing and American Express. Mom made plenty of baby dresses, blessing dresses, wedding dressing and many dance costumes.
Mom had the privilege of serving in the Lion’s Club with Dad. Mom was the first Women District Governor in the state of Utah. She also had the privilege of being the first Council Chairman for the state of Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Birch; parents; brother Tom Tuckett; and granddaughter Stephanie Birch.
Mom is survived by her children: Debra, Mark (Joyce), David (Tommie) Allison, (Grant, and Lynda (Del); 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 10 + 1 on the way great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Lundeell and Frankie Johnson

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah, where viewings will be held Thursday, September 30th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
